About our responsibly harvested wood
All of our wood is responsibly harvested under the guidelines of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, separated by species and seasoned accordingly. We do not mix our wood until you order it!

Seasoning
All of our firewood is naturally seasoned.
The wood is seasoned after it is cut and split. It is a proven fact that wood does not sufficiently dry in log form. Our split firewood is placed in long low piles on a well drained gravel base for better drying.
Because seasoning times vary between wood species (6-18 months), we do not mix our wood until an order is placed.
